We are a locally owned and operated autobody repair shop that strives to provide high-quality repairs, paint, and service. Our technicians are extremely experienced with ongoing training to keep up with the technology changes in the automotive repair industry.

What do I do if I’ve been in an accident?
- You will need to make a claim through SGI. Either online through www.sgi.sk.ca or call 1-800-667-9779.
- If your vehicle is not drivable, it will be towed through the insurance claims department and then brought to the shop of your choice. If you have decided to use 5th Street Autobody, please phone us so that we can get a file started for you.
- We will receive an assignment from SGI to write the estimate if it is eligible. If it is not eligible, SGI will want to write the estimate.
- If you already have the estimate done by SGI, call us with the claim number and your plate number. We will download the claim into our system and start the process of ordering parts.
What if I don’t want to go through insurance?
Give us a call and we will book you in for an estimate to have the repairs completed.
I have hail on my vehicle, now what?
You will need to make a claim through SGI. We have PDR technicians on staff to complete all hail claims from start to finish.
Are you accredited by SGI?
Yes, we have met and exceeded all SGI guidelines. For this we have been designated as an Accredited SGI Repair Center.
Do you provide warranty on your repairs?
5th Street Autobody commits to a limited lifetime warranty on all our repairs and services unless stated otherwise. Warranty shall be null and void if the repair or paint has been altered, adjusted or tampered with by any person who is not authorized by 5th Street Autobody. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear like rock chips.
How can I keep my car’s finish looking like new?
- Remove stains and bird droppings as soon as possible to prevent acid etching.
- Avoid waxing or polishing for 90 days after vehicle has been refinished.
- Do not dry your vehicle with a dry cloth to prevent scratched.
- Do not use the brushes that are in car washes as these can scratch your pain.
- Avoid spilling chemical such as antifreeze, windshield washing fluid or gasoline/diesel on the finish.
